So far so good after a few days of use - happy to have a fresh battery with much longer run time, after several years with my old 36v. Cheers!

    down tube battery

Good concept but reckon the carrier design could do with some work. 2x5mm screws to hold all that weight in place is not enough. The strap provided to assist is not really a suitable alternative. I drilled and tapped an additional 3 holes to give 5 all together. To assist the 2 screws, I think that the carrier needs to be secured to the downtube with some type of hose clamp arrangement??? Downtube shapes vary but hose clamps would form to fit. Problem solved.
