This is our standard Bafang BBSHD Chainring with 42 narrow wide teeth which includes a changeable 130mm Bolt Circle Diameter (BCD) Adapter.
Using this chainring, the engine is less stressed by the higher RPM and at the same time saves a lot of weight. The chainring in steel, but the adapter is in aluminium.
Superb for mountainous regions where the original chainring with 46 teeth is too large.
It offers an offset when the swingarm is too wide and the chainring is grinding on it. The chainring can also be moved inwards by a few millimetres with spacers and longer chainring screws.
Different 130mm chainring adapters with 5 arms can also be mounted.
The weight is about 368 grams and saves more than 200 grams to the standard steel chainring.
The inner hole diameter is about 41mm, the bolt circle of the chainring bolts is about 52mm.
For BBSHD motors only. Not suitable for BBS01 or BBS02.
