We believe that every user of an electric bicycle powered by a mid-drive unit should have as comfortable a ride as possible.
This device is unique and provides a perfect shifting function for compatible mid drive units.
The gear sensor works similar to a clutch in the car.
When the user starts gear shifting, the motor power is paused or reduced for a necessary period of time which is required for a smooth shifting.
It's based on an intelligent sensor fixed on the shifter cable, which temporarily halts the motor drive when the rider activates gear shifting, avoiding that horrible crunching sound when changing gears.
This proven device allows smooth shifting for both derailleurs and internal gear hubs.
It also provides longer lifetime to the whole shifting system.
This gear sensor is compatible with a range of mid-drive motors, including Bafang, Brose, TQ, Polini, AEG, Fazua, Ananda, Motinova, DAPU, DP, COMP, Tongsheng, Shengyi, MPF and Bofeili.
For Bafang motors, it is suitable for all mid-drive motors, specifically Bafang BBS01, BBS02, BBSHD motors, M200, M300, M400, M420, M500, M600, M620 and M800.
Gear Sensors are a unique system, originally developed, patented and made by Agentura Repro in the Czech Republic.

| ADVANTAGES
Solves problems of mechanical shifting related to a mid drive unit.
Provides perfect shifting in any situation (for all standard rear/front derailleurs and internal gear hubs).
Prolongs lifetime of the whole shifting system.
Removes loud sounds (gear crunching) and decreases the chance off breaking a chain during the shifting.
Provides easy shifting like on a normal bicycle.
Both derailleur and internally geared hubs will have problems shifting between ratios under full power, especially for higher powered motor.
These problems may not be very noticeable for the 250W units with a high quality derailleur gear set, but over time you will wear the parts from this undesirable shifting. Even though this may not be limiting the way you ride.
