If you love your bike and care about the drive train, please invest in this sensor as it will save your drive train from a lot of unnecessary stress from changing gears.

This sensor basically cuts out power to the motor when a gear change is detected... the result? a much smoother ride and a reduction of stress to the drive train. This is not something that's just in theory, you can really tell the difference.

For the price, I highly recommend this.

Some tips and tricks i learnt when i installed my sensor:

When you convert your bike using any mid drive kits, you most likely have removed the front gears. Please keep the entire cable and gear shifter when you do because you can utilize the cable stoppers to stop the sensor from moving when you do install this.

Pirez bikes do give you the one in the picture, but it is for mounting from the front of the bike, if you wish to mount it at the rear, it'll be best done with the cable stoppers you get from your front shift assembly.

Overall, this is a must have product in my opinion.

Spend time to determine the most suitable location, usually several options. Works extremely well under power, smoother changes than pedalling alone. Worth the money.
