Ebike Stabiliser Bar for full or rear suspension bikes
This is an alternative fixing plate for stabilizing the mounting of the Bafang mid drive. You use this instead of the triangular mounting bracket that comes with the motor. It prevents damage to your bike frame while keeping your motor held firmly in place.
The stock fixing plate is designed to "bite" into your bottom bracket shell which can permanently damage the frame. Over time the motor can become loose and eventually fail to hold its position as the bottom bracket become increasingly chewed up by the fixing plate. Using a stabilizer bar fixes this problem.
The Full Suspension Stabilizer Bar is designed to stabilize the motor on bikes with rear suspension, but can be used on almost any bike.
Made of high strength 304 stainless steel, this bar attaches to the underside of the down tube.
Some bending or forming may be required for a rock solid installation with either a hose clamp or suitable M6 bolt.
May be painted or left with original stainless steel finish.
Note: The Full Suspension stabilizer bar is only compatible with 68-73mm bottom brackets.
